What Services does the GoMe provide?

Service/Project Managers

“See a Need; Fill a Need” – the GoMe’s main objective is to provide support to its affiliates, and to “fill in the blanks” as needed.
Produces a weekly digest of discussions, activities and tasks, distributed via forum PMs to guild members. Appointed by the Grand Master

 

  • Webmaster – oversees the GoMe website, and TestGoMe; implements the necessary codes (RSS) and website changes/updates. –  Leonardo, white 
  • Website Admin – coordinates with the webmaster on projects/features, new books/pages and updates. - Tanshin, Al'Kaera 
  • Forum Administrator – oversees the forums, sections and posts as needed. - Lynnutte, Al'Kaera
  • Forum Moderators - responsible for editing, moving posts to facilitate guild communication on the forum. - Lynnutte, Al'Kaera 
  • Cavern Criers/Relayers - Lynnutte 
  • Translators – Italian: Leonardo  -Portuguese: Sirlazurus  -French: Alaedrain, Natsaka  -Dutch: Lunanne  -Spanish: Yuko Hoon
  • Calendar Keeper – monitors various forums for Uru community events & meetings, and posts them to the calendar. - sythiar

Newspaper ”Where Are U Uru?”

  • Editor-in-chief – oversees production of the newsletter by coordinating the team and reviewing the work in progress from beginning to end; selects the articles and their order of feature; writes the editorial. - Theremin
  • Co-editor – assists the Editor-in-chief, especially in finding articles and reviewing the work in progress until the final stage. - Open
  • Assembler – assembles the articles, pictures, etc. according to the specifications of the Editor-in-chief and produces a final PDF file. – blutec
  • Proofreader – reviews all the texts before it goes to the assembler; then reviews the final PDF. - Open
  • Photographer – finds appropriate pictures to accompany articles for which reporters do not provide their own. Open
  • GoMe Reporter – contributes at least one (250 word) article per issue to cover the essential news. Open
  • Guest Reporters – contribute Myst-Uru related articles (topics are first proposed to the Editor-in-chief).
  • Interviewer – contributes articles based on interviews. Irissa
  • Distributors – sends the final version out by e-mail to subscribers and post it on various forums.- Theremin, Leonardo 
  • Translators – translate/distribute newspaper to their segment of the community.
